In the News

On Friday, October 6, 2023 SGC presented a donation to the First Tee of Tucson, in Marc Miller's name. Marc, a long time SGC and Board of Director member, passed unexpectedly on August 14, 2023. Present were several members of SGC, Marc's wife Liz snd family along with the kids and staff of the First Tee. Excepting the donation on behalf of the First Tee was Judy McDermott, Executive Director.

From Liz Miller.....

So grateful to the Silverbell Golf Club leaders and members for the donation to First Tee in Marc Miller's honor. Marc LOVED being part of the Club throughout the years. It was the highlight of his leisure time: playing and talking and just being himself in your company. The group will always hold a special place in our family's heart as Marc's treasured friends and golf mates. Blessings to all.

City Takes Aim At Golf, Again

Once again the Mayor and City Concil are attempting to distroy city golf. This time by putting a walking path in the middle of the Randolph complex golf courses. There are an infinate number of reasons that this plan is just flat out crazy.

Click this link to read an email from Jim Sims, representing the Pima Education Golf league of Tucson and a detail of the City's proposal.

We urge you to contact your City Councilperson and the Mayor's office and voice your opposition to this plan.

Silverbell Golf Club Lift, Clean & Place Policy

The Silverbell Golf Club will play Lift, Clean and Place only on days the Tucson City Golf courses declare play as cart path only.

For Major Tournament play, Lift, Clean and Place will only apply to days that the course determines as cart path only. We will not automatically play Lift, Clean and Place for both days.
